The Events Insight
It's all about the music! - With Gill Tee
Gill started her music career at Capital Radio, working her way through the ranks becoming the Head of Entertainment at the station. She was charged with producing the first ever 100,000 capacity Party in the Park at Hyde Park.
Gill recognised there was a gap in the market for high quality, well made and aesthetically pleasing fencing and barriers. She co-founded entertee hire, an award winning fencing and barrier company supplying to the event industry.
Within the events industry, Gill is best known for the Black Deer Festival. Gill is the Co-Founder, Promoter/Festival Director of Black Deer Festival, in its 5th year, staged only 3, because of Covid. Black Deer encapsulates everything I learned over the many years in the industry and everything I love.
Gill warm personality shines through on her podcast chat – you can feel the love when she talks about her family and the Black Deer Festival.
This recording was done out on location with Gill, hence some of the background noise during the recording. We don't get much time off from our events!
